Michigan Selected to be Site of New Dow™ POWERHOUSE™ Solar Shingle Facility
On February 3, 2010, the Dow Chemical Company announced that Midland, Michigan has been identified as the preferred site for the first full-scale production facility for its revolutionary DOW™ POWERHOUSE™ Solar Shingle, subject to finalizing local, state and federal funding. While this could bring more than 1200 jobs to the region by 2014, staffing will not begin until late 2010.
